We have finally decided to join the "blog world" to show off our furniture, accessories, and artwork!

Most of you may be familiar with our talented co-owners Stephannie Welsh and Haley Bianchini but to get started here is a little background story on how Lounge Interiors and Art Gallery came to be:

Stephannie Welsh and Haley Bianchini started lounge interiors after they both discovered they had the same vision to open a store of their own.  Haley graduated from Mississippi College with a degree in interior design.  She has been as active part of the design community in Jackson, MS since graduation.  She has also designed homes in Oxford, MS, Navarre Beach, FL, Orange Beach, AL, and commercial spaces in Jackson, MS and Meridian, MS.  Stephannie is a graduate from the University of Mississippi and began work for a designer in Jackson immediately following graduation.  After a couple of years she moved to New York City and worked for Behun/Ziff design a firm that worked on projects such as the Ian Schrager hotel in Manhattan and private homes in Centre Island, New York, Marthas vineyard, Manhattan, and Palm Beach Florida.  Once Stephannie moved back to Jackson and the two met they discovered they shared the same philosophy regarding design and decided to merge their talents and expertise.  Their design style is one that combines clean modern lines with vintage pieces.  They enjoy creating spaces for their clients that are unique to the family or individual.  This includes mixing family heirlooms with modern art and comfortable yet affordable upholstery pieces. Homes that they have designed have been featured in Portico magazine, VIP Jackson and Mississippi Magazine.  They are currently working on a number of commercial and residential projects in and around the Jackson, MS area.
